The University of Florida Eye Institute (UFEI) in Jacksonville, FL is looking to add a fellowship trained cornea and refractive specialist. It is a ten physician practice currently consisting of 7 MDs and 3 OD’s. The University practice is also associated with the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans hospital system.

The UFEI is an academic department with a large clinical volume and a residency program in ophthalmology. Approximately 60,000 patient visits and 3,200 surgeries are performed each year. Every subspecialty within ophthalmology is represented, as well as a LASIK/Refractive service. The UFEI also has its own all ophthalmology surgery center. The practice is open to the interest of potential candidates and flexibility exists for those seeking specific experiences or career paths. Given the range of possibilities, both experienced and recent graduates are welcome to apply. Director of Pediatric Ophthalmology at the University of Louisville The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS) at the University of Louisville School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at either the associate professor or professorial rank to be Director of the service. The selected candidate would also be Chief of Pediatric Ophthalmology at Kosair Childrens Hospital – the only regional children’s hospital in Kentucky. The DOVS is located on the campus of the University of Louisville Medical Center. Kosair Childrens Hospital, University of Louisville Hospital, Jewish Hospital and Norton Hospital comprise the four major institutions in the medical center complex.

The Pediatric Division is strongly involved in all aspects of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus.
